Snapshot supremacy: once signed, “tighten-only” prevents bypass behavior.
Decision quality, not vibes
Emotions, disturbances, and intent logging — captured trade-by-trade.
Why KPL

More than journaling. A personal risk desk.

Most journals report outcomes. KPL enforces your operating constraints and records the decision context behind each trade — so discipline becomes measurable, auditable, and repeatable.

Governance Engine

Rules evaluated on every trade

Set risk parameters, session discipline, exposure limits, and non-negotiables. KPL evaluates completed and planned trades against the current enforcement source.

Contracts

Snapshot risk, tighten-only resume

Start a contract and KPL snapshots your limits. Resume logic enforces “lower-only” tightening and prevents switching critical protections off mid-program.

Decision Quality

Emotions + group decisions, captured

Log core emotions, disturbances, and intent (“what I pushed for”). Build a record that explains performance beyond P/L.

How it works

A simple workflow that stays strict.

KPL is designed to reduce decision fatigue and eliminate loopholes — while keeping your process visible and accountable.

01

Define your risk program

Account size, max risk per trade, daily loss limits, sessions, exposure, and your non-negotiables.

02

Sign a contract

Lock the snapshot. Contract status becomes the enforcement source for new trades and edits.

03

Log trades with context

Capture decisions, emotions, disturbances, and management actions while the details are still real.

04

Audit, learn, tighten

Review violations, patterns, and time-in-trade. Tighten the system as you mature — without rewriting history.

FAQ

Questions traders actually ask.

Short answers now. Detailed documentation later.

Is KaizenPipsLog just another journal?+
No. KPL is a governance layer. Journals describe outcomes; KPL enforces the rule source (free planning vs contract snapshot) and logs decision context for auditability.
What does “Contract Snapshot” mean?+
When a contract starts, KPL snapshots your risk program. During the contract lifecycle, the snapshot governs new trades and edits — and resume is tighten-only.
Can I run multiple accounts and prop programs?+
Yes. The core model is multi-account with explicit ownership. Each account can have its own risk plan and its own contract/program lifecycle.
Can I import my old journal data?+
Yes. We plan imports from spreadsheets and previous tools. The key requirement is correct account attachment so analytics remains truthful.
When is launch?+
We are targeting early 2026 for a public release, after structured private beta cycles.
